Snowman Logistics, India’s leading integrated temperature-controlled logistics provider, has commenced construction of a new built-to-suit (BTS) warehouse facility in Pune.
Developed by Whitecastle Infra, a seasoned regional developer, the facility will add 5,900 pallets to Snowman’s existing 16,000-pallet capacity in Pune, addressing the region’s rising demand for high-quality cold storage. Scheduled to be operational by June 2026, the warehouse will support a wide range of industries, including ice cream, dairy, chocolates, QSRs, coffee chains, meat, seafood, pharmaceuticals, and industrial goods. Director Ishaan Gupta emphasised the strategic importance of the new site, highlighting it as part of Snowman’s broader mission to expand its national footprint using both owned and asset-light models.
With this expansion, Snowman continues to strengthen India’s cold chain infrastructure, catering to key consumption and production markets. The company currently operates 1,54,330 pallets across 21 cities including major hubs like Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Delhi, and Kolkata. The new Pune facility marks another milestone in Snowman’s growth and service capabilities.
