Mattress maker Springfit is planning to expand manufacturing facilities and marketing activities by 2014.
The company will invest Rs 500 crore for setting up four manufacturing plants in metro cities in order to cater to the demand of particular regions. Also the company is planning to invest on marketing and exclusive showrooms. The expansion will be funded primarily through bank loans.
Currently, it has established a new factory at Meerut in Uttar Pradesh which is expected to commercially start manufacturing foam-based mattresses from January 2013.
