The Corporation of Madurai has floated a tender for underground sewerage system to leftout areas and added areas of North Vaigai in Madurai City Municipal Corporation under Amrut 2.0 - Package-I and Package-II.
The work includes construction and operation including collection system and allied works, with a construction period of 36 months and six months for trial run and commissioning. The operation and maintenance (O&M) has to be carried out for 60 months.
The estimated cost for Package-I and II under AMRUT are Rs 163.76 and Rs 269.46 crore respectively.
The bid submission deadline for both packages is 27 March, 2024.
