Machinery suppliers and contractors
for Toshali Cements'
cement clinker expansion project in Koraput district of Orissa is likely to
finalise by mid-July 2008.
The company will be implementing the
project in two phases. In the first phase capacity will be expanded from 0.2
million tpa to 0.7 million tpa, and in the second phase the cement capacity will
be increased from 0.7 million tpa to 1 million tpa.
Design Teribe India is the consultant
for the project and the required machinery will be sourced from India. The Phase
I of the project is expected to be completed by mid 2009.
Toshali Cements is also planning to
expand the capacity of its
portland slag cement unit at Bayyavaram in Visakhapatnam district of Andhra
Pradesh, for which machinery suppliers is yet to be finalised.
