"This initiative will transform urban mobility and security, ensuring smarter, safer cities for the people of Uttar Pradesh," said Darpan Jayraj Kale.
The project aims to generate over 500 job opportunities and is set to begin in the financial year 2026-27. It will implement smart solutions like adaptive traffic signals, ANPR systems, smart poles, and surveillance cameras in major cities including Lucknow, Noida, Kanpur, Agra, and Varanasi, through a public-private partnership or build-opearte-transfer (BOT) model.
