Mahindra Satyam has commenced work on its IT SEZ at the Mahindra Satyam
Infocity campus at Madhapur in Hyderabad.
The SEZ is sprawled over 26 acre with a built up area of 4,00,000 sq ft.
Phase I of the campus is likely to be completed within the next six months and
will seat around 5,000 associates.
Recently, the Board of Approvals for SEZs had granted one more year of
validity to Mahindra Satyam for its three SEZ projects in Andhra Pradesh. The
company could now complete the projects by June 2011. The validity of the formal
approvals for its IT-ITES SEZs at Madhapur, Bahadurpally (both in Hyderabad) and
Thotlakonda (near Visakhapatnam) is set to expire in June 2010.
