XSIO Logistics, based in Nagpur, has secured a seven-acre plot near Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai for Rs 230 crore.
This acquisition is part of a larger logistics development in Mumbai, which involves an estimated investment of Rs 470 crore. The project is currently awaiting pre-construction approvals and is expected to be completed within three years of starting construction. The land’s proximity to Terminal 1 gives it significant strategic value, marking XSIO's entry into the high-value urban logistics market.
In partnership with Blackstone, XSIO already operates a logistics facility near Nagpur and plans to develop a state-of-the-art, partially temperature-controlled logistics park on the Mumbai site. This facility will cater to diverse industries such as multinational corporations, quick commerce, cloud kitchens, and pharmaceutical companies. The proximity to Terminal 1 enhances the project’s strategic importance, as per sources familiar with the development.
