Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has proposed to sublease 50 acres of Patanjali's 300-acre food park in Sector 24A, Noida, to develop an agri-export hub near the upcoming Noida International Airport.
The project, led by Innova Food Park from Karnataka, is part of a World Bank and UP government-backed initiative to enhance agricultural growth and rural enterprise. The facility will handle testing, grading, packaging, and include a gamma radiation unit for food sterilisation. Strategically located just over 10 km from the airport’s cargo terminal, the hub will support direct exports of fruits, vegetables, grains, and processed foods to international markets like West Asia, Europe, and Russia.
The State Cabinet had approved the plan in July after a World Bank review. YEIDA’s Shailendra Bhatia confirmed ongoing discussions with Patanjali. The project aims to boost agro-industrial development and create strong farm-to-market linkages, benefiting local farmers and businesses across western UP.
