Bindals Papers Mills is planning to set up a sugar manufacturing unit with a capacity of 10,000 tccpd along with 12 MW co-generation power unit in Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh.

The proposed unit will come up over 7.99 hectare of land parcel. The project also includes setting up of molasses-based distillery with a capacity of 150 klpd along with co-generation power plant of 3.5 MW capacity.

In Q2/FY23, Bindals Papers Mills received environment clearance for the project.

As per the information shared with Projects Today, the project will be grounded in Q1/F24.
