Ceigall Infra Projects, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ceigall India, has received a letter of award (LoA) from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the construction of a four-lane highway project in Bihar.
The project involves upgrading the Sahebganj–Areraj–Bettiah section of NH139W, covering a total length of 78.942 km. It is divided into two sections: Sahebganj to Areraj (38.362 km) and Areraj to Bettiah (40.580 km). The estimated bid cost for the order is Rs 2,160 crore, and it will be executed under the hybrid annuity model (HAM). The construction will be completed within 24 months, followed by a 15-year operation and maintenance (O&M) period.
This strategically important highway is expected to improve regional connectivity, enhance road safety, and facilitate faster transportation of goods and passengers, contributing to the economic growth of Bihar.
