Pace Digitek has received a letter of award (LoA) from Karnataka Renewable Energy Development (KREDL) for a major renewable energy project at Pavagada Solar Park, Karnataka.

The project involves a 250 MW Solar PV Power Plant integrated with a 250 MW / 1,100 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS), located at Annadanapura and Reddyvarahalli in Tumkuru district. The project aims to enhance grid efficiency and deliver peak power to Karnataka’s energy grid. This contract, awarded through a tariff-based bidding process (Tranche I), will be operational within 18 months from the signing of the power purchase agreement (PPA).

The 25-year project will benefit from an interim tariff of Rs 5.51 per unit, as set by the Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC), along with viability gap funding (VGF) support. With this award, Pace Digitek’s total order book stands at Rs 102,428 million, reinforcing its position in both the energy and telecom sectors.
