Hibond Steel is planning to expand its MS ingots/billets production capacity from 2,000 tpm to 19,500 tpm at Devda in Mehsana district of Gujarat.

The project will extend over 22.89 acres of land parcel. The expansion will also include increasing TMT steel bars/channels/angels manufacturing capacity from 400 tpm to 17,600 tpm.

As per the information available with Projects Today, Hibond Steel is awaiting environmental clearance (EC) for the project. The company expects to begin project work by April 2024.

The contractor and machinery supplier are yet to be finalised.
