Petro Carbon & Chemicals is planning to set up a 4x9 MVA submerged arc furnace (SAF) and 2x10 tph chrome ore briquetting plant at Bardhanyaghata in Midnapore district of West Bengal.

The new plant will manufacture ferro alloys, which would be 65,600 tpa Si-Mn or 88,800 tpa Fe-Mn or 30,400 tpa Fe-Si or 67,200 tpa Fe-Cr or 78,430 tpa Pig Iron.

The proposed project will spread over 10.29 acres of land parcel.

As per the information available with Projects Today, Petro Carbon is awaiting environmental clearance for the project. The company expects to begin project work after it receives mandatory approvals from the authorities.
