KIMS Hospitals has inaugurated its Total Laboratory Automation (TLA) system at the Secunderabad facility, marking a first-of-its-kind achievement in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

The launch, held on January 10, 2026, was attended by senior leadership and medical professionals, with Dr. B Bhaskar Rao, Chairman & Managing Director of KIMS Group of Hospitals, serving as Chief Guest. The TLA system integrates advanced dry chemistry technologies and automated workflows to significantly enhance diagnostic accuracy, reduce manual intervention, minimise pre-analytical and analytical errors, and improve biosafety. Dr. Radhika Chowdary, Chief of Laboratory Medicine, noted, “This automation ensures faster turnaround times and consistent results, ultimately improving patient outcomes.”

The facility is designed to handle high diagnostic volumes efficiently, reduce turnaround times for routine and emergency tests, and enhance overall patient safety.
