Reliance Consumer Products (RCPL), the FMCG arm of Reliance Industries (RIL), has acquired Southern Health Foods (SHFPL), a health foods maker based in Tamil Nadu, for Rs 156.42 crore.

As a result, SHFPL has become a wholly owned subsidiary of RCPL, effective 09 February, 2026. Founded in 2012, SHFPL is known for its flagship brand, Manna, and has been a manufacturer of a wide range of healthy foods for over two decades. T Krishnakumar, Director of RCPL, commented, “Manna is one of the most trusted names in the health-focused foods market in Tamil Nadu with a noticeable presence in the adjoining states. It is known for healthy offerings like millet-based staples and mixes, drinks, and baby food.”

The acquisition will strengthen RCPL’s portfolio in the growing millet-based foods segment.
