BKC-Chunabhatti Connector: Mumbai's new flyover reduces commuters vows

The Bandra Kurla Complex-Chunabhatti Connector has been thrown open for public use on 10 November 2019.
With this new flyover, the travel time has now been reduced by 30 minutes. The 1.6 km flyover providing direct access to motorists to BKC via the Eastern Express Highway will now reduce commuters vows.The flyover will help commuter avoid traffic congestion at Dharavi and Sion junctions.
The 1.6 km long and 17 mtr wide, four-lane connector will ease traffic towards Thane-Nashik and Panvel-Pune and provide faster connectivity to and from the Eastern Express Highway.
The project worth Rs 203 crore was under construction for four years. It is an engineering marvel wherein a 230 mtr long stretch passes over Mithi river and has 50 mtr long rail-over-bridges over tracks near Sion and Chunabhatti.
