K. Rosaiah, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, is expected to launch a novel
drinking water scheme in Gadwal town of Mahabubnagar district on 21 March 2010.
Under the scheme six districts - Vishakhapatnam, Kadapa, Karimnagar, Adilabad,
Prakasham and Mahabubnagar will benefit. Of the Rs 800 crore of World Bank
financial assistance, Mahabubnagar district will get Rs 125 crore.
The Chief Minister is also likely to lay foundation stone for construction of
women's degree college in Gadwal town.
