Cosmo Films, a lamination film maker plans to invest Rs 150 crore to increase
its production capacity by 2011 to cater to the growing demand in food and
packaging market in India.
Post expansion, the company's manufacturing capacity for bi-axially oriented
polypropylene film is expected to be 1,26,000 tpa from existing 91,000 tpa. It
is likely to set up another line to its existing facility in Gujarat for the
purpose.
At present, the company has two manufacturing locations in India at
Aurangabad (Maharashtra) and Vadodara (Gujarat).
