Tetra Pak proposes to infuse Rs 700 crore in India over the next three years
on expansion.
It is planning to set up a new manufacturing unit to almost double its
production capacity. At present, the company has a manufacturing plant in Pune
(Maharashtra) for producing different types of packaging materials with a
capacity of around 4.5 billion units per annum, and plans to increase it to up
to eight billion units a year.
The company is scouting for locations to set up the second plant.
