Technocraft Industries has commenced power generation at its 15 MW coal based
power plant in Maharashtra. About 50 per cent power will be consumed internally
and balance 50 per cent will be sold to Maharashtra State Transmission Company.
The present sale will be done on 22 kV line. Technocraft is also erecting
suitable switch yard with an investment of about Rs 10 crore for supplying power
to the grind on open access basis on 100 kV line. Plans are afoot for doubling
the capacity of power plant by installing another 15 MW power plant at the same
site.
