KEC International and Tata Projects have successfully secured two orders from Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL).
KEC International has received an order of Package - CC-CS/266-NR2/TW-2511/3/G2 with a total cost of Rs 207.46 crore and Tata Projects’ order consists of Package- CC-CS/266-NR2/TW-2510/3/G2 worth Rs 253.13 crore. This order will be under the consultancy project of the Ministry of Power.
The scope of work for both the orders from PGCIL are: TW04 for 220 kV S/C Kargil Khalsti transmission line (approx 90 km) and tower package- TW05 for (i) 220 kV S/C Khalsti Leh transmission line (approx 74 km) (ii) 66 kV D/C Khalsti Khalsti (RGGVY) transmission line (iii) 2x66 kV D/C Leh Leh (RGGVY) transmission line (approx 305 km) associated with 220kV Alusteng (Srinagar)-Leh transmission system including 66kV interconnection system at Drass, Kargil, Khalsti Leh.
