KNK Projects has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) for a contract aimed at improving water supply in Palwal Town, Haryana, under the AMRUT 2.0 scheme.
The scope of work includes construction of four Ranney wells in the Yamuna Flood Plain near Thanthri village, along with rising mains from various wells to the Master Balancing Station (MBS) at Thanthri. It also involves construction of the MBS at Kithwari and laying of the main rising main (PCCP pipe) between MBS Thanthri and MBS Kithwari. It covers operation and maintenance during a 12 month defect liability period (DLP), following a successful three-month trial run, and thereafter for five years in total compliance. Completion is targeted within 21 months.
Undertaken by the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Haryana, the initiative is expected to significantly enhance potable water supply infrastructure in Palwal Town. KNK Projects’ bid of Rs 212.46 crore underscores its growing role in critical public utility projects across India, particularly in the water and sewerage infrastructure sector.
