The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) has santioned a sum of Rs 4,345 crore to convert the 287.36 km stretch of national highway (NH)-7 from two lane to four lane road in Madhya Pradesh.
Of the Rs 4,345 crore, Rs 1,032 crore will be used for constructing the 69.19 km long four lane road between Rewa-Katni-Jabalpur.
The Rs 1,034 crore second package will be used for constructing the 69.07 km long road between Rewa-Katni-Jabalpur.
The fourth package of Rs 1,035 crore will be used for constructing the 68.28 km long road between Rewa-Katni-Jabalpur.
Rs 1,244 crore has been sanctioned for converting the 80.82 km long stretch on Jabalpur-Lakhnadon section of NH-7.
