Lifestyle and utility accessories brand Swiss Military is set to expand its retail footprint, aiming to add 3,000 multi-brand outlets (MBOs) by year-end, bringing its total to 7,000. The company is also strengthening its presence in modern trade and launching exclusive brand outlets (EBOs), with plans to open 25 new EBOs in 2025, taking the network to 130 outlets.
Offline channels currently account for 78 percent of revenue. Online and quick-commerce channels contribute 22 percent of revenue, a share expected to rise amid growing demand in tier-2 and tier-3 towns.
To support its expansion, Swiss Military has commissioned a manufacturing facility in Faridabad, Delhi NCR, with an installed capacity of around 1,00,000 luggage sets per year, and is expected to go-to-market timelines and respond faster to demand. Previously reliant on imports from Japan and China, the company is now leveraging India’s manufacturing capabilities to reduce costs and turnaround times.
