Action Construction Equipment is currently in discussion with KATO WORKS, a Japanese global construction equipment manufacturer of mobile cranes, excavators and other equipment to establish a joint venture (JV) in India. The two firms plan to sign a formal contract once the terms are finalised.

The JV intends to produce medium-and-large-sized cranes, mainly truck cranes, crawler cranes and rough terrain cranes for the Indian market. Besides, the JV also plans to introduce a wide range of value-added products for exports to other countries from India in future. For this, it would utilise the technology to be started in the company's development.

As the company proceeds with preparations with KATO to establish the JV,  its efforts to create a business foundation which will help it grow is the cornerstone of its medium-to-long term growth strategy.
