Ambuja Realty has inaugurated its new shopping mall in its City Centre II at Rajarhat in West Bengal, on 19 September 2009. The Rs 275 crore project has a mall and a five-star hotel.

The company has invested Rs 175 crore for the shopping mall and Rs 100 crore for the hotel. City Centre II has been spread over five acre wherein the mall is on 350,000 sq ft and the hotel on 150,000 sq ft. The mall is expected to be fully operational by December 2009. The mall is expected to house 180 retailers, 70 per cent of which were currently doing the interior fit-outs.

The mall also has 147-room integrated five star hotel for which Ambuja has entered into a management contract with Swissotel.

Three more City Centres are coming up - one in Siliguri (West Bengal) by April 2010, Haldia (West Bengal) in 2011 and in Chhattisgarh in 2011.
