Aqua Fiber Industries is setting up a polyester staple fibre unit at Mubarakpur, Derabassi, in Patiala district of Punjab.
It will have a capacity of 45 tonne per day and come up over 6.98 acre of land.
The machinery suppliers for the project are Zhangjiagang Gangying Industries Co, and Zhejiang Boretech Co.
Around 70 per cent of the project cost will be funded through bank loan and the balance 30 per cent from internal accruals.
As disclosed to ProjectsToday, the company has achieved financial closure for the project and work will be completed by June 2015.
