B G Shirke Construction Technology has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) for the redevelopment of the GPRA Colony at Sarojini Nagar, New Delhi.
The work involves the construction of 800 Type V quarters, a community hall, miscellaneous buildings, and other infrastructure such as the main gate and Swachh Bharat Toilets. The work will be carried out on a design, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis, along with operation and maintenance for five years. The total value of the contract is Rs. 930.24 crore
. The scope of work includes comprehensive construction and upgrading of facilities, and under the supervision of NBCC, it is a significant part of the government's efforts to modernize residential facilities for government employees.
