The Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA) has allocated 12.5 acres of land to 25 industrial units in the state, a move aimed at boosting industrial activity, job creation, and economic growth.
This decision was made at a meeting of BIADA's Project Clearance Committee (PCC) on 28 Jnauray, 2026, chaired by Industries Department Secretary and BIADA MD Kundan Kumar. The approved projects are expected to attract a total investment of Rs 168.52 crore and generate 1,194 direct work opportunities, in addition to creating indirect roles. The sectors receiving allotments include information technology enabled services (ITES), food processing, textile and leather, plastic, and general manufacturing.
Among the companies granted land for setting up units are Chemplast Products and Industries, AD Biomass Energy, Redcyber Solutions, and Rishav Multigrains. This development marks a step forward in Bihar’s vision to become a diversified industrial hub.
