Filatex India’s textile-to-textile recycling plant is set to begin operations by September 2026.
With a capacity of 27,000 tonne per year, the company aims for Rs 300–350 crore in revenue at full production. The plant’s output will help the company meet growing demand for recycled textiles, with agreements already in place with Decathlon and talks underway with other global brands.
Chairman and Managing Director Madhusudan Bhageria highlighted that the company expects strong growth, with domestic PTA capacity additions aiding margin improvement. He stated, “These FTAs will help us in a long way. Our duty will be much lower compared to China… exports will increase multi-fold once they are all in place.”
