Japanese tyre maker, Bridgestone Corporation, is planning to more than double the capacity at its second plant in India by the end of 2015.
The plant is located in the western city of Pune. It is likely to produce around 10,000 passenger-car tyres per day from 4,000 and 1,000 numbers per day truck and bus radial tyres by end 2015. The company is investing Rs 2,600 crore in the facility.
The company has another factory in central India.
