Ceigall India has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) by the Himachal Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation (HPSIDC) for a major infrastructure contract linked to the development of the Bulk Drug Park at Una district.
The work encompasses formation cutting and the construction of internal roads within the park premises. The Bulk Drug Park initiative is part of the Central government’s push to boost domestic manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and reduce dependence on imports, especially from China.
Ceigall India’s selection as L1 with a bid value of Rs 225 crore makes it the most competitive bid, pending final award and contract execution. This project is anticipated to enhance connectivity, streamline logistics, and support the timely establishment of manufacturing facilities in the park. Once operational, the Park is expected to attract significant investment from the pharmaceutical sector, generating employment and strengthening India’s pharmaceutical supply chain resilience.
