Ceigall India has received a letter of intent (LoI) from REC Power Development and Consultancy (RECPDCL) for the establishment of 400/220 kV Velgaon substation (GIS) through the tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) process.
The LoI, dated November 23, 2025, outlines the award of the contract for the significant infrastructure project aimed at boosting the power transmission network. The contract mandates a contract performance guarantee of Rs 9.35 crore within 10 days of the LoI issuance, with a completion timeline of 24 months.
The operational and maintenance period for the substation is set at 35 years, with Rs 585 million as annual transmission charges over this period.
