POWERGRID has successfully commisioned the 400 kV Maharani Bagh–Narela multi-circuit transmission line, a major upgrade to Delhi NCR’s electricity network.

The new line, charged in the presence of senior officials including Rajeev Verma, Chief Secretary, Delhi Government, and Dr. R K Tyagi, CMD of POWERGRID, will reduce the load on existing transmission corridors, enhance system stability, and ensure an uninterrupted power supply, especially during peak demand periods. This project marks a significant step in strengthening the region’s transmission infrastructure and supporting the growing energy needs of Delhi NCR.
