1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

Centre approves 1.68 lakh houses under PMAY-Urban

The Central government has approved construction of over 1.68 lakh houses in urban areas under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, taking the total number of houses sanctioned so far to 1.1 crore (11 million).
 
The houses sanctioned by the Central Sanctioning and Monitoring Committee (CSMC) are proposed to be constructed in verticals like beneficiary-led construction, affordable housing in partnership and in-situ slum redevelopment under PMAY (Urban).
 
The states also put in their proposals for revision of projects due to various issues such as of land, topographical hazards, inter-city migration and change of preferences of verticals, among others.
 
Under PMAY-U, 41 lakh houses have been completed so far, while construction is in various stages in more than 70 lakh houses.
 
PMAY(U), launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in June 2015, aims to ensure Housing for all by 2022. The government has set a target of 1.12 crore houses to be constructed in urban areas in the country over a period of seven years from 2015 to 2022.
