The Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) has launched a new Ceramic Industrial Park in Jambudiya-Paneli, marking a significant milestone for India’s tile and ceramic industry.
Spanning over 1,000 acres, this project aims to transform the Morbi-Rajkot region into a world-class industrial zone, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a developed India. The park is strategically located near the Morbi ceramic cluster, with excellent connectivity to major logistics hubs like Hirasar International Airport and ports such as Kandla and Mundra. It will focus on tiles, sanitaryware, and advanced ceramics, while also attracting investment in high-value niche sectors.
Key facilities within the park include a Common Display Centre, a Centre of Excellence with a NABL-certified lab, and a Skill Development Centre to boost innovation and workforce capabilities. The park will also feature a 30 MLD water supply system, power substations, and solid waste management infrastructure to ensure sustainable operations.
