The Godrej Group has revealed plans to expand the capacity of its dairy plant in Hyderabad with an investment of Rs 150 crore.
The new plant, to be built on a 40-acre site, will focus on processing value-added dairy products. This expansion is expected to create over 300 direct employment, along with indirect employment in sectors like logistics, procurement, and agriculture services. The announcement was made during a meeting at the World Economic Forum 2026 in Davos, where Telangana’s Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu and Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy met Nadir Godrej, Director of Godrej Industries.
The discussion also touched on the potential integration of AI in oil palm agriculture and Godrej’s future infrastructure projects in residential zones. Minister Sridhar Babu welcomed Godrej’s expansion, noting that it would add significant value both to the government and the company. Godrej Agrovet had previously announced a Rs 300-crore Integrated Oil Palm Complex in Khammam district.
