1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

HAP begins commercial production at new plant in Maharashtra

Hatsun Agro Product (HAP), a private sector dairy company, with brands Arokya, Hatsun, Arun Ice creams, Ibaco, has announced commercial production at its newly set up modern greenfield dairy processing plant in Solapur, Maharashtra. 
 
The plant is the 19th manufacturing location for HAP that has a network of plants in four states of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka. 
 
The fully automated dairy plant is set up over 72 acre of land at a cost of Rs 130 crore. The plant follows the latest design philosophy and has specialised imported equipment from Germany to process six lakh lpd. 
 
The emphasis of the design is on employee safety, product hygiene and making products of the finest quality. 
 
HAP has also set up a water pond inside the factory premises for harvesting rain water to the tune of 1.25 crore ltr. This is a first in the region and the water saved can be fully treated and utilised for multiple purposes. 
 
The company will manufacture milk, curds, buttermilk, chhaas, lassi, yoghurt and shrikhand at the new plant. It will market them under brand names -- Arokya and Hatsun.  The total milk processing capacity of HAP now stands at 52.50 lakh lpd across all its manufacturing locations in five states. 
 
HAP intends to manufacture a variety of products at Solapur facility and will provide over 3,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities in the state. 
 
Additionally, the setting up of this plant will help onboard dairy farmers to the mainstream network and boost income of over 75,000 to 90,000 dairy farmers.  
 
HAP aims to provide greater support to farmers with access to the best technology, farm inputs, animal husbandry services, specialised cattle feed and direct credit to their bank accounts for their milk supply. 
 
With the commencement of production at the facility, the company further intends to expand its retail network through launch of more HAP Daily outlets in various towns of Maharashtra and Goa.
