Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced that Kuppam constituency will soon see fresh investments worth Rs 6,339 crore from eight companies, which is expected to generate employment for 43,000 people in the region.
This announcement follows the virtual foundation stone laying of seven industrial projects with a combined investment of Rs 2,203 crore. The projects, backed by companies like Hindalco, Mother Dairy, E-Royce EV, and more, span industries including food processing, dairy, electric vehicles, and tech products. The government has allocated 241 acres of land for these ventures.
CM Naidu highlighted this as a step toward transforming Kuppam into an innovation hub. Additionally, plans are underway to create a space city, drone city, and aerospace city in the Rayalaseema region, part of the broader push for high-tech industries in the state.
