The Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) is likely to construct 27,000 houses
under the JNNURM in the city.
The housing project is part of the city modernisation scheme and to improve
the quality of life of the people. The project is to be executed at a cost Rs
325 crore and formalities including selection of site are to be finalised
shortly.
Small houses with an area of less than 600 square feet under the RMC would be
left out of the range of property tax.
