IHG Hotels & Resorts aims to have over 400 open and in-development hotels in India within the next five years.
IHG currently operates or has signed hotels across eight brands in India, including Six Senses, InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, and Holiday Inn. As part of its expansion, IHG plans to debut its Vignette Collection brand in early 2026, further boosting its presence in the luxury and lifestyle segments. The company continues to see strong growth in India with record signings for the third consecutive year in 2025.
The introduction of new brands like Garner and the rapid growth of InterContinental further strengthens IHG’s offerings in India. "India is one of IHG’s strategic markets globally and a key contributor to its long-term growth ambitions," said Elie Maalouf, CEO of IHG Hotels & Resorts. The country remains one of IHG’s most active markets, supported by strong demand in both business and leisure sectors.
