IRIS Business Services has entered a public-private partnership (PPP) with the Department of Industries, Trade & Commerce, Government of Goa, to provide data-driven technology solutions for MSMEs.
The collaboration, formalised through a memorandum of understanding (MoU), aims to enhance credit access and streamline compliance management for small and medium enterprises in the state. Goa’s credit-deposit (CD) ratio stood at 26.5% in 2023, lower than the national average of 75.8 percent.
IRIS intends to leverage digitisation and data analytics to improve MSME credit availability while introducing an integrated compliance platform based on a common data standard to reduce regulatory burdens. The Goa government will provide policy and administrative support, along with initiatives to encourage digital adoption among MSMEs.
