JD Cables has signed an agreement for sale on 13 October, 2025, with Star Battery to acquire land and buildings measuring approx.1,18,288 sq. ft. (164.29 Cottah) in Dankuni, Hooghly district, for Rs 10.45 crore.

The industrial-ready facility, featuring existing sheds and structures, will support the Company’s strategic goal of expanding manufacturing capacity to meet increasing market demand. The Conveyance Deed is expected to be executed within two months, following full payment of the consideration amount. As part of this expansion initiative, JD Cables has also placed orders for advanced machinery to be installed in its Conductor Division at the new facility.

This investment aims to boost operational efficiency, enhance product quality, and increase overall output. The dual move underlines the Company’s commitment to modernising its manufacturing infrastructure and aligning with its long-term growth strategy focused on innovation, capacity enhancement, and sustainable revenue growth.
