Klüber Lubrication will expand its operations facility in Mysore, Karnataka which is set to be fully operational at the beginning of 2027. The company recently announced an investment of Rs 142 crore to further bolster its operations in the country, by increasing domestic production, while reiterating its commitment to 'Make in India'.
Klüber India’s plant engaged in producing world-class specialty lubricants is spread over 17,000 sq. mtrs. at present and features a cutting-edge production facility equipped with technology tailored to its specialised needs. Through this investment, Klüber will attain new certifications such as IATF (for automotive customers) and ISO 21469 (for food grade lubricants), while elevating the R&D infrastructure and increasing the speed to market for new products.
To better serve its clientele, Klüber will leverage these enhancements to strengthen its operations, introduce high-value product lines, and facilitate the seamless relocation of global products. By integrating a new production hall and world class infrastructure, its aim is to offer advanced speciality products which will be locally manufactured. Overall, this initiative is in line with the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan' mission, even as the move will help the company to be closer and faster to its customers not just in India, but in the entire APAC region.
Klüber Lubrication’s expansion in Mysore also underscores the organisation’s focus on sustainability. With the aid of solar panels installed on the roof, the plant derives more than half of its energy from renewable sources.
