Kundan Green Energy has announced the commissioning of its hydropower plant at Luni in Dharamshala district of Himachal Pradesh. The plant,  commissioned in a record 24 months. will bring operating hydropower capacities of Kundan Green Energy to 85 MWs. 

Kundan Green Energy and its subsidiaries have four operational hydro power plants in Sikkim and three more of larger capacities are under construction. Adding the existing solar and wind based installed generation projects, the total commissioned and functioning projects of Kundan Green Energy as on date stand at a capacity of 120.5 MWs. 

Set up with approx. Rs 75 crore investment, the project was awarded in 2022. It demonstrates consistent record of executing hydropower projects with committed time-frames and optimal results, as the company makes contribution towards green energy alternatives through optimal efficiencies in materials, systems and processes.
