The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) will launch its IT City project on Sultanpur Road in January, with land donors getting the first chance to select plots.
The project, spread across 2,660 acres, follows a land pooling model, where donors receive 25 percent of the developed land as compensation, offering greater value than traditional methods. The township will feature around 10,000 residential plots and is expected to accommodate nearly one lakh residents once complete.
The development includes plots ranging from 72 to 200 sq. mtrs, with key features such as a 200-acre green belt, a 15-acre water body focused on sustainability, and a new two-km approach road linking the site to Kisan Path. "The project is designed to offer significant benefits to the city and its residents," said an LDA official.
