LuLu Group International is developing Lulu Shopping Mall on Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala. The company received all necessary clearances for the project in 2016 and initiated work on the same thereafter.
Being built at a cost of Rs 1,250 crore, the mall will spread over 19 acre of land with a total built-up area of 2,502,000 sq ft including the mall, convention centre and hotel. Projects Today has learnt from the LuLu Group that around 40 percent work on the project has been completed till date.
The promoter is hopeful of completing the mall construction by December-end 2019. Designed by CRN Architects & Engineers and Design International, the mall will have a parking space to accommodate around 3,000 cars with modern traffic management systems and will also have a food court with a capacity for 3,500 people along with a nine-screen multiplex. Haryana- based Sobha is the contractor designated to build the shopping mall.
