Magarpatta Township Development Construction Company
(MTDCC) plans to set up a Rs.35 crore shopping complex - Mega Centre in Pune. The Centre will be part of the Magarpatta
Township that MTDCC is planning to develop at the junction of the Sholapur and Magarpatta
roads.
The Centre will be spread over an area of
5.25 lakh square feet and will be ready by December 2002. On completion, the complex
will comprise of one building with six storeys of shopping area. It will have
eight big showrooms of more than 2,000 square feet and 100 square feet modular
shops in clusters of four. In all there will be 800 shops. In addition to this
there would banking and ATM facilities, four theme cafeteria and restaurants, and
parking space to accommodate 800 cars and 1,000 two wheelers at any given point
of time.
