Madhya Pradesh has received approval for the Rs 2,100-crore PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) Park, a groundbreaking project that promises to transform the state's textile industry.
Spanning 2,100 acres, this integrated park will feature cutting-edge facilities and residential complexes, creating ample work opportunities and attracting significant investment to the region. The approval from the Union Ministry of Textiles marks a major milestone, with Madhya Pradesh becoming home to India's first such integrated textile park.
The PM MITRA Park aims to bolster India's position in the global textile market and enhance the state's industrial landscape. It will include a 20 MLD zero liquid discharge (ZLD) plant, a solar-powered energy facility, and plug-and-play built-Tto-suit (BTS) units. Additionally, residential complexes for workers will ensure that the park has all the necessary infrastructure. Construction is set to be completed within 14 months.
Madhya Pradesh’s Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also revealed that investment proposals worth Rs 10,000 crore have already been received for the park, signaling strong industry interest. Located in Bhainsola village, Badnawar tehsil in Dhar district, the Park's strategic location, close to key industrial hubs and transport routes, enhances its appeal.
