Mahindra Lifespace Developers has acquired approx. nine acres of land in North Bengaluru through the acquisition of Shreyas Stones (SSPL) for Rs 199 crore. The deal was formalised through a share purchase agreement (SPA), with Mahindra Lifespace acquiring 100 percent of SSPL’s equity shares, which owns 8.79 acres of land in Navaratna Agrahara Village.
According to the company’s statement, this acquisition opens up a premium housing development opportunity with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of Rs 1,100 crore. The newly acquired parcel adjoins an existing Mahindra Lifespace property, creating a potential for a unified project with a combined GDV of Rs 2,100 crore.
Amit Kumar Sinha, Managing Director & CEO of Mahindra Lifespace Developers, stated, "This acquisition marks a key milestone in strengthening our presence in North Bengaluru, one of the city’s most promising real estate corridors." The company's residential portfolio spans 47.56 million sq. ft. across seven cities, alongside over 5,000 acres of industrial and integrated developments across four locations.
